We came in to Chowrastha today during their lunch buffet and the food was really good. They had a variety of Non-Veg and Veggie options. I had a little bit of everything but my favorite was their butter chicken and biryani. They kept refilling thee food trays which was awesome because everything was fresh. Definitely recommended

We had just touched down in Vegas and were ready to eat good. Right across from our hotel, Mandalay Bay Resort, we found this hidden gem—and baby, it did not disappoint. Let’s get into these P&Cs: ⸻ Pros: • We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to sit wherever we liked. A waiter came over immediately with water and told us it was self-serve. • The buffet had a wide variety of dishes, including a nice section with fresh-cut fruits. • The space was clean, cozy, and had a cute Midtown cafe vibe. • Soft Indian music playing in the background added to the vibe. • Loved the creativity in the interior design—it felt thoughtful but chill. • There was a full crowd, and it was mostly families. I always take that as a good sign. • Even though we only had one plate, the food was flavorful and clearly prepared with care. • Bonus: There’s a small bar inside (we didn’t get to enjoy it, but it’s there if you want it). • Location is perfect—right on the strip within the Plaza. ⸻ Cons: • Some of the buffet trays weren’t restocked quickly enough. • The buffet area itself could’ve been cleaned more frequently. • Sticky notes were used to label the dishes—which made it feel a little informal. • Heads up: when they say “spicy,” they mean it. I wish I had taken the warning more seriously! ⸻ Final Thoughts: 9/10 Indiain good was a win. The food, the ambiance, the music, and the location all came together for a satisfying experience. I’d definitely go back. This is a great spot if you want authentic Indian flavors with a laid-back, family-friendly setting right in the middle of the Vegas energy.

I visited this place every night during my stay in Vegas, being the beginner for most of the nights I ended up choosing tiffins. Yummy yummy yummy go for it. Kids and family friendly. I noticed almost everybody around My table were enjoying, their food be it biryani or chicken or naan. Only happy faces around me. I will highly recommend this if you are looking for a quick authentic dine. This is not a fine dine or a luxury hotel. Just setting g up the expectation. But great food to be tasted in the fabulous Vegas.

Craving authentic Indian food in Vegas? This buffet is a must. It offers a wide variety of fresh, high-quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, each bursting with unique flavor. The chicken curry and butter chicken were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Freshly baked naan paired beautifully with the curries. A surprise standout: crispy, well-seasoned baby corn fries. Desserts were fresh and satisfying, rounding out a fantastic meal. Friendly staff, clean premises, and ample rear parking make the experience even better.

Absolutely amazing Indian food! I was staying at Mandalay Bay for a work conference and stumbled across Chowrastha on the first night of my stay. I ate in the first night, came back for take-away the second night, and visited for the lunch buffet on my third day. It was truly that good! Great service, nice staff, and really good prices for the portions. Highly recommended!!

Our friends recommended this. We were leaving Vegas and wanted to get the most of it. They have buffet only lunch with tons of varieties. Every single item was tasty and rich. No doubt it had a good word of mouth. Service was great. I give them 10/10! If you are visiting Vegas looking for authentic food, this is your place. We will come back.

SO delicious!! The chili cauliflower appetizer is one of the tastiest foods I've ever eaten. It was so spicy that I had to have the yogurt sauce but it was worth it!! I'll be coming back every time I'm in town just for that! The rest of the food was also spectacular & I do mean spectacular. That cauliflower, though, had me in spicy tears & happy tears at the same time. If spicy isn't your thing, you can tell your server your preferred spice level & they can adapt &/or make recs. So so so good!!

In vegas for a convention and like other reviewers wanted something different and more affordable than the typical strip fare. We where staying at the MGM and this spot popped up on Google and Yelp so we gave it a go for the lunch buffet. So everything was good both the veg and non-veg options but be forewarned it is spicy. For me it was spicy in a good way flavourful and savory a little burn but not too much lasting heat. The wife was a little overwhelmed by the spice but she doesn't venture much past ketchup heat wise. For me it was a 3 on the spice meeter enough to be interesting without preventing enjoyment. Honestly liked everything we tried including the desserts. The only suggestion from me would be to turn down the spice on maybe the butter chicken and butter masala for the more delicate palates amongst us.
